Draw World
A small shared world where nothing is locked. Walk around a top-down pixel island, talk to the people you bump into — by text or by actual voice — draw your own character, and build houses, gardens and whole villages together with everyone else who happens to be online.
Think of it as VRChat in two dimensions: the point isn't to win, it's to hang out somewhere you made yourselves.
Your voice carries across the map
Press M and start talking. Anyone standing near you hears you — louder up close, fading as they walk away, panned to the side they're standing on. Turn your back on a conversation and it fades behind you, like a room full of people.
Audio goes straight from browser to browser, so the server never touches it. Text chat works the same way: local to the few screens around you, with speech bubbles over your head.
Draw yourself
Your character is a sprite sheet you draw in a pixel editor built into the game — four directions, as many animation frames as you want. Or import a PNG you already have. New accounts come with ten ready-made characters to start from.
Mark a skin as copyable and anyone who clicks on you can walk away wearing it. Some of the best-looking characters in the world are hand-me-downs.
Every tile is editable
Press E and the world becomes a canvas. Four layers — floor, walls, ceiling, collision — and every cell of the map is yours to repaint. Draw new tiles and objects in the same pixel editor and they join a shared library everyone can build with.
- Walls sort by depth, so characters stand behind house fronts properly
- Ceilings hide what's underneath until you walk in
- Objects can be solid, pushable, animated, or glow at night
- Everything saves instantly and is live for everyone else
There's no undo and no ownership. If you don't like something, paint over it. That's the deal.
The villages are already lived in
An island of four biomes — forest, snow, meadow, desert — with villages connected by roads, a river, a frozen lake, an oasis, and a race track south of the central plaza that times your laps.
The residents have routines: they sleep at home, work the wells and gardens, eat at the village centre, gossip in the evening. A full day lasts one real hour, so you'll see them go through it. They remember who talked to them and who built something near their house, and they pass it on to their neighbours — come back tomorrow and someone may bring up what you did.
Write your own inhabitants
Anything that moves and isn't a player is an actor: an NPC, an animal, a pet, a portal, a minigame zone. You can make one, give it a sprite, and write its brain in JavaScript from inside the game. Start from a template — guard, pet, tag, race — and change what you like.
Scripts run server-side in a sandbox, so a broken one can only break itself. They can build inside their own zone, run a UI panel, react to players arriving, talking, or pressing space.
Six languages, at the same time
Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, German and Japanese. Pick yours at login and change it whenever. Two players standing next to the same NPC each hear it in their own language.
Player chat is never translated — everyone writes in their own words, and you figure it out. It works better than it sounds.
Getting in
Runs in the browser. No install, no plugin, no account required to look around — play as a guest and make an account later if you want to keep your skins.
For voice: your browser will ask for microphone permission. That's the only thing it asks for.
Controls
- WASD or arrows — walk (Shift to run)
- Enter — chat
- Space or click — interact with whoever's nearest
- M — microphone on/off
- I — your skins
- E — edit the world
- Mouse wheel — zoom
- ? — quick help
There's a full manual in-game under Docs, in all six languages.
